2. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and cancellation policies of Élite Ascension, a high-end private chef service offering bespoke gastronomic experiences for an international clientele.

3. Bookings

Each experience whether a private dinner, yacht service, cocktail reception, or large-scale event — is subject to a personalized quotation.
The booking is considered confirmed only after written validation of the quotation and signature of the electronic service agreement.

A deposit or card pre-authorization may be required to secure the reservation, depending on the nature of the event.

4. Booking Deadlines

Bookings should be made within the following timeframes:

  • - Private dinners & cocktail receptions: minimum 7 days in advance.
  • -Events, weddings, or yacht experiences: minimum 3 to 4 weeks in advance,     depending on project complexity.

However, under certain circumstances, Élite Ascension may exceptionally accept last-minute requests. Such requests will be subject to a feasibility assessment based on logistics, product availability, and scheduling. In these cases, an express surcharge or advance payment may apply

5. Cancellation Policy

Each Élite Ascension experience is entirely bespoke.
Any cancellation directly impacts planning, ingredient sourcing, and team scheduling.
Different conditions apply depending on the nature and scale of the service.

A. Private Dining & Intimate Experiences

  • - Cancellation more than 3 days before the event: no charge.
  • - Cancellation between 3 and 2 days before: 15% of the total amount will be charged.
  • - Cancellation less than 24 hours before or on the same day: 50% to 100% of the total amount, depending on the level of preparation already undertaken.
  • - No show: full amount (100%) will be charged.

A credit card pre-authorization of 15% is required to confirm the booking.
This amount will only be charged in case of a late cancellation according to the terms above.

B. Large-Scale Events & Complex Operations

(Weddings, corporate receptions, luxury brand events, yacht experiences, or high-end productions)

Such events involve significant advance costs, logistics, and staff coordination.

  • - Cancellation more than 7 days before the event: no charge.
  • - Cancellation between 7 and 3 days before: 30% of the total amount will be charged.
  • - Cancellation less than 72 hours before: 50% to 100%, depending on the expenses already incurred.
  • - No show: full amount (100%) will be charged.

A deposit or pre-authorization of 30% may be required at the time of booking, depending on the complexity of the event.

Exceptional Circumstances

In the event of unforeseen circumstances (illness, accident, force majeure), a date reschedule without additional fees may be offered, subject to the Chef’s availability.
Otherwise, the cancellation terms above will apply.

6. Postponement or Changes

Any rescheduling request must be approved by Élite Ascension and is subject to availability.
If a new date cannot be accommodated, the cancellation terms above will apply.

7. Liability

Élite Ascension is committed to delivering a culinary experience that meets the highest standards of fine dining and luxury service. The client is responsible for ensuring proper site access, equipment availability, and compliance with safety and timing requirements.

8. Confidentiality & Image Rights

No photo, video, or recording of the event may be used or shared publicly without written consent.
The Chef reserves the right to use images of his culinary creations for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested by the client.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Annecy, France.
